The new stage, in partnership with Filtr Live, has its line-up completed, with names that promise to warm the evenings of the festival. Bands such as Oriente, Noturnall, Jimmy & Rats, Braza, Vivendo do Ócio, among many others, will make five daily shows, on the seven days of the festival. There will be 35 attractions, with 1,050 minutes of music, on a stage projected in an elevated area, with a privileged view.
“This year, there will be nine music stages in the City of Rock, and we have finally created a space that we had been discussing for a while, so that prominent bands from the national scene could perform their repertoire live in Rock in Rio. Many of these artists already have a legion of fans in their shows or digital platforms, but I have no doubt that the Supernova Stage will be a unique experience, not only for the bands, but also for the audience of the festival”, states Luis Justo, CEO of Rock in Rio.
The stage will be located at the highest area of the City of Rock, having a privileged view of the whole festival. The Supernova, which is 9 meters tall and 12 meters wide, has scenography gears inspired in SteamPunk, a subgenre of scientific fiction going through an alternative reality, and its aesthetics proposal makes reference to the 19th century.
