Torture Squad has amassed 26 years of heavy music, 8 albums, 3 EPs and 2 DVDs, in addition to several tours in Brazil, South America, and Europe. On metal day, the band will be joining Claustrofobia on Sunset Stage- another Brazilian band with a 20-year-long career, 6 albums and international recognition - for a special show. No lesser a figure than Chuck Billy will participate in this meeting to sing Testament's classics. The artist is part of a generation that shaped trash metal in the Bay Area. Certainly, headbangers will feel duly represented on October 4, 2019.
About Torture Squad
Torture Squad will celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2019 with a vengeance. The band from south São Paulo, who was first created in 1989, includes in their current line-up Mayara "Undead" Puertas (vocal), Amilcar Christófaro (drums), Castor (bass and vocals), and Rene Simionato (guitar). Their most recent project, "Far Beyond Existence" (2017), is Torture Squad's eighth studio album and includes the songs Don’t Cross My Path, Steady Hands, and Hero For The Ages. The band recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut album release "Shivering" (1998), as well as the 10th anniversary of the iconic album "Hellbound" (2008), issued in Brazil and Europe.
Claustrofobia, a band formed in 1993 in the city of Leme, São Paulo,established themselves as a reference for national metal. Currently, the band comprises Marcus D'angelo (vocal and guitar), Rafael Yamada (bass), and Caio D'angelo (drums). With six studio albums,Claustrofobia has played South America and Europe, where they have a huge fan base. Their studio albums are: "Claustrofobia" (2000), "Thrasher" (2002), "Fulminant" (2005)," I See Red" (2009), "Peste" (2011), and "Download Hatred" (2016).
