British hard rock will invade the Sunset Stage. After 34 years, Whitesnake will return to the festival, this time with the tour that promotes the new album “Flesh & Blood”, dropped in May 2019. David Coverdale formed the band in 1978 and since then Whitesnake has topped the charts several times throughout their career, in addition to having countless awards and nominations under their belt. The band will make the audience get up with their unmistakable melodies and hits on September 28.
Formed in 1978, Whitesnake released albums that reached the Top 10 on the UK charts in the 80s. They have been nominated for the coveted Brit Awards as Best British Band. The hits “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love” fared well on American soil, and the 1989 album “Slip of the Tongue” sold over one million copies in the United States. Along with their all-time classics that cannot be left out, the band will present their latest work with the song “Shut Up and Kiss Me”, the first single off their new album that brings the same energy and power on the guitars and vocals that have been associated with the band in more than 40 years of live performances.
